Amir John Haddad – EL AMIR is an award-winning flamenco guitar virtuoso.
Hans Zimmer invited him to perform on various soundtracks including ‘The Rhythm Section’ (Jude Law), ‘SpongeBob 3 – On the Run’, ‘Boss Baby 2’, ‘Army of Thieves’ (Netflix) and ‘James Bond 007 – No Time to Die’.
El Amir is the guitar soloist for “The World of Hans Zimmer” Shows 2018/19/20/24 and 2025. He has been the lead guitarist for Juno Reactor (Matrix) for over a decade now.
For a decade, El Amir was a member and soloist of the renowned Spanish World Music band Radio Tarifa, earning a Latin Grammy nomination in 2004 and in 2012 with Chambao.
He has performed, recorded and collaborated with famous artists such as Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Juno Reactor (Matrix Reloaded), Eliades Ochoa (Buenavista Social Club), Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), Jorge Pardo (Ex Paco de Lucía), Shankar Mahadevan (John McLaughlin-Shakti) the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Canción Andaluza Project by Paco de Lucía, among others.
He has been performing on stage since he was 12 years old and among others has been awarded with Independent Music Awards in 2012, Global Music Awards in 2019/2020 and has toured in 57 countries with his own shows.
El Amir is a charismatic guitar virtuoso, concertino and composer as well as an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, internationally recognized as one of the leading soloists in the realm of flamenco.
